I thought it was time to make another video of the makeup removers that I have. Because just reading and preparing for the exams everyday will soon drive me crazy. The idea of doing this review is just to compare the products/brands to another. I have chosen to focus on how easy it is to remove makeup with, the packaging, design, scent and consistence.

The perfect one!
If you have followed my earlier posts, you probably know that I had hard time finding a new winter jacket. Well, the day after I posted the entry I made some research through many stores' website.
Then I thought that I found one, from CUBUS, until I went to the store and tried it on. What was the problem then, you may ask? It was wayyyyy too big on me. It looked like I was wearing a tent. I was just about to give up, but decided to go MONKI, which was next to it. I do not go there very often, unless they have sales going on.
Out of sudden I found a jacket, which I have seen before on their website, but I was not interested then, because I thought it would be too long for me. Well, I found the smallest size they had and I tried it on...
It costs 800 NOK, which is 1 NOK more that the jacket that I found at MANGO.
This jacket from MONKI might not be a jacket for every occasion, but surely, I could use it from everyday to special occasions. It is not that waterproofed, but it can handle a bit snow and rain. There was nothing that I did not like about this jacket, except from that it is not as functional as I wanted "the perfect one" to be.
Of course I did purchased it, even though I think it was too pricey... Well, why should this come as a surprise for me, when basically everything in Norway is expensive?
I used to mind when I see people wearing the same clothes as me. A week after I bought this jacket, I saw a girl who has the same jacket on. Normally I would not mind, but this time it was hard for me to handle it. Why? Because it looks better on her!

Finding the right one is difficult!
As read in the title, it is very difficult to find the right one. A petite person like me has to find the one that suits me best. When it comes to the size, which is very difficult because I live in Europe, where most people are (much) taller than me. Well, here I talk about finding the right jacket, what else did you think?
I have been living two winters with cheap and poor quality winter jackets. One of them I bought from H&M, for 100 NOK(yes, it was on sale), back in 2009... It just tells me that it is time to get a new winter jacket, A GOOD ONE. A real investment!
Today after the class, I went to the library to read. I know this has nothing with finding the right jacket to do, but I will get there soon! Anyways, after reading for three hours, three articles and one chapter, I started to lose focus, because before that I had class for three hours. And this morning when I woke up my left eye hurt really bad. It felt like someone has stabbed something into the inner-eye corner. I dropped using contact lenses and decided to wear glasses instead. I got these glasses in my last year of high school, which means that the glasses have not been updated since then. It was a tiring day for my eyes and my mind too. Why my mind, you may ask? Because the last evening, me and my group worked on a paper that we really wanted to hand in before 9pm, but we was running out of time and were stressing for hours to finish it. Yes, we managed to hand it in JUST IN TIME, but we all got messed up. I came home, an hour later I was still shaking...
So, back to the jacket hunting. Then I decided to go to MANGO to check if there are any jackets that I might like. I tried on two, but the one that I like the best is the blue one.

My thoughts about the blue coat: I like the color very much. Perfect total length and also perfect sleeve length. Feels good when wearing. I tried it in XS and as always it was a little tight around the shoulder part: issue #1. It is quilted feather jacket and I want to be animal-friendly: issue #2. The buttons on the chest, I personally do not like them: issue #3. It costs 799 NOK: issue #4. I have no idea if it gets soaked when it snows/rains, or if it is wind-proof: issue #5.
So I sent my mom a picture of me with the coat on...
Therefore, I need your opinion! Tell me if I should go for it or not and give me a reason. Help!

From school straight to my heart(and my mind)
I am on my second year of the college university, studying tourism with business. Some couple of weeks ago, while reading a book in one of the business subjects, I discovered a quote that shot me right to my heart. The quote tells us about how the consumer behavior has changed over the last century.
"People no longer buy shoes to keep their feet warm and dry. They buy because of the way the shoes make them feel -masculine, feminine, rugged, different, sophisticated, young, glamorous, 'in'. Buying shoes has become an emotional experience" -Kotler
Before I started on this study, or school, I never had an idea of how we, the consumers, behave and that the people who do the marketing can actually analyzing us. After I have been into this kind of thing for a year and a half, I keep learning new things everyday. I have to say that the study has changed me and the way I behave as a consumer. Before I used to buy things I thought it could represent "me", now I think a lot more about the product if I should or should not buy it. I use longer time in the stores, just to think about whether I really need it, or if it is going to be practical and useful... I think about EVERYTHING! Now, I am not a big fan of brands, unless the cosmetic brands that I adore or a brand that I have got "the emotional" connection to, such as Canon, Nokia and Converse.
When I buy clothes, I think about the style(I do not want it to be super trendy, because it will be harder to use it when it is not 'in' anymore), the color(I buy a color that can basically match the most in my closet), the texture(I know the sheer tops are so in lately, but I do not buy these because of the climate in Norway and also that I need to have something beneath the top.. just lots of work!) and the price(is the price to high for the requirements that I mentioned earlier?).
When I buy cosmetics, I can go all over it when it is sale. Yes, I am a woman and it is a woman nature that we let the sale fool us sometimes. Still, I have a lot in mind before I decide to buy a product, so yes, I use a lot of time deciding. I like trying the product first, of course. I like to see how the color is like on my skin. How the texture is and will it smudge easily? Is the color pigmented according to the price? Does it give you what it claims to? Sometimes, I just try a product, get out of the store, come home and think about it and if I am really unsure I also do research about the product.
When I buy shoes, I think about the size, the comfort, the quality, the heights and the price. I have small, feet and I always have trouble finding the perfect pair. If you are petite, you probably know what it feels like. It sucks! If the shoes that I have picked out has the comfort, the quality, acceptable heights and price, but they seem to be slippery on the normal floor -there is NO WAY that I would buy this pair!
When I buy bags, I prefer the that the bag is not real leather. Why? First, it costs more. Second, I can not stand the smell. Third, I try to be a smart consumer -I guess. LOL. Since that I am petite, I have to find a bag that is not too big, so it makes me look even more tiny than what I actually am. I require that that bag has to be practical for many occasions, such like school, shopping, traveling, café-visits etc. I also think about design and color. And of course, if the price matches what it offers. I have been hunting for the perfect bag for over two months, but I have not found any. So right now, the smartest solution that I could come up with is to switch bags for the right occasion and it is tiring, because I always forget something.
When I buy grocery, I am not that picky. Still I might use half an hour when I do the big weekly shopping. Sometimes choosing a bread could be a challenge for me.
Living and dealing with everything of these is hard, but I hope soon that it will sink in and be a part of me, because I definitely like that I think before I buy things. It helps to keep my bank account looking healthy.

School and MOM
Today was a long, long day at school with 6 hours lesson. We usually have 3 hours, and every time we have 6 hours, my brain gets damaged till the next day. Still, today I could not even come home and relax, because we have an assignment that should be handed in by Wednesday next week. I did not find it out before this week, since that I was back in my hometown visiting my mom for 6 days.
My shoulders are right below my ears and I feel pretty stressed, even though I have a week to work on this assignment. But I am not that type of person who safes this kind of thing to the very last, except from reading to the exams -but that is because it is in the end of the semester and I am tired of studying and my motivation is (almost) gone. So, if it is possible I would like to start early and finish earlier than the deadline, because with my luck, you really do not know what could happen if I finish the night/morning before the deadline. To comfort myself, I tell myself that this is a group assignment, LUCKILY! Then I feel more optimistic and less stressed.
I have been trying to make a video, just talking about my currently favorites, but I failed -not just once but three times! I guess I got camera shy after 3 months without making videos. LOL. And not to let you down I have got a video for you! It is sadly not a beauty related video, but it is a video of my mom's reaction when I suddenly showed up at her door. Yes, I planed to surprise her.
I hope you liked the video.. I was hard to hold the camera straight, because I had to laugh and I was really nervous that I would fail surprising her. Hope you did not mind that.
Anyways, I need to lay down, perhaps sleep, because my head got headache from trying so hard to start on the assignment after a long day at school. People used to say to me that I need a break from reading and working, I clearly see the point, but I am not used to do that. At least I have started with the assignment... I now deserve to sleep, right?

I am alive!
Well, where should I start and what should I say after being gone for a long, long time? Perhaps it is a good start to apologize my followers(like I had any) for have being absent in the past two months(at least!). Yes, I am very sorry for just disappeared without letting you know beforehand.
And now I should explain why I was absent. Well, living in a city that you do not belong to, at a young age like me ain't easy! I realized that working five days a week and also trying to spend some time with people you love at the same time as you should make, edit and uploading video was not easy as it sounds like(or is it me who was being lazy?). But there are other reasons as well, which I will not tell, because I do not want a lot of attention around it. If you know me personally, you probably know what I talk about.
In case you wonder(and care), I am doing pretty good. I met some walls on the way, but what does not kill you makes you stronger -right? I have moved to a new place and have not had the right time to sit in front of the camera yet, besides I look like shit from stressing in the last two months. Aaaand I do not have a super awesome computer, which means that I can not edit video on my cute little mini-laptop. However, I will try to keep updating this blog as often as I can(with pictures and stuffs)!
I do not know about where you live, but in Oslo it starts to get cold. Fall is my favorite time of the year, because of the colors on the trees and it is chilly enough that I can wrap a BIG scarf around my neck without people staring at me. Well, I do not like rain though -unless I stay inside and sleep the day long -which I do not really do anymore, because I have "grown up", I guess. Anyways, do not take the sun for granted(unless you live near the equator), because when it goes down, you'll be freezing your nose off! An advice from me to you(because I care): a scarf can be a lifesaver, so do like me - wrap you neck with a nice scarf, besides scarf is one of the must-have accessories for fall!

VLOG: Italy Trip 2012

Personally, I think this video must be one of the worst one I have recorded so far. Since that I had so little sleep, my mind was not always with me.. In case you wonder why I paused so much, it is because I was not awake yet.

My Everyday Makeup Look
Hey there, ho there!
Alright, so I have been away in almost 2 weeks. Which means that you must have missed me, right? Hihi.. But I have a good news, because I have many videos I wanted to share with you. What kind of videos I am talking about? I will not tell, but I am sure you will like them! Stay tuned for that.
This video I will show you my everyday makeup look, which I put on mostly when I go to work or school. I do not put makeup on if I stay at home. I usually do not put makeup on if I just go out to buy some grocery at the local supermarket either. So, this is very natural look that you can wear anytime you want, because it is so natural that you probably can not tell(unless you study it closely). Enjoy!
Now I am back home from Italy again and I am going to keep making videos. I can not wait to share with you the videos!

Since that I finally have got the summer vacation, things have changed recently. I go to work five days a week, I have got a bang(or a fringe, if you want to call it so) and I also have a bunch of things I would like to do this summer..
Sometimes I feel like it is waste of time to sit in front of the computer all day long. That is why I have made some plans and goals that I would like to achieve. I am not a very active or sporty type of person, so obviously I need a lot of pressure on me to go to gym. Otherwise I really enjoy dancing and hula-hooping at home. My summer job is pretty hard as well, when I come home, I swear that my arms and shoulders hurt, so enough physical work out at work at least. From working just two days, I have gain muscles on my arms, my abs and also my legs!!!

Easy Pink Look
Hello pretty peeps!
Because the schools and colleges in Thailand just started, my cousin suggested that I should do a make-up tutorial on a natural but freshy look. Of course it is strictly forbidden to wear make-up when you go to school, unless you are in college. This look is perfect for any occasion, which is easy to do as well.
While I was editing this video, to start with I was hyper, because I just came home from the cinema. My boyfriend and I watched MIB 3(Men In Black 3) in 3D, which was really cool, because Will Smith was my secret crush when I was a teenager and also that it has an interesting plot. One summer I used to watch MIB 1 and 2 all day and was obsessed with Will Smith. I am not going to give you the summary of the movie, if you are curious, you just go and watch it, OK? Anyways, after failing some couple of times with voice over, it got pretty late and I was about to give up. I tried some couple of times more and really got tired. Please do not get surprised, if you hear me being unenthusiastic sometimes...
I had fun exploring my favorite color: PINK, which I do not use at all, because I am a beginner who is not ready to take that step yet. If the look disappoints you, then I have to apologize. I was really not sure how to combine such colors...

I thought I would forget to upload the video and update the blog, because I forgot the days, since that it is the end of the semester and my shoulder are no longer right under my ears, I finally got in to the vacation mood - just a bit too early! Anyhow, I will be done with school at 4th June, until then - fight I shall!
This is my first time doing a favorite video. I was not sure what to include in the video and obviously after I was done editing the video I got lots of ideas of what I should have included... One Eye Shadow Challenge
Hello my beautiful viewers^_^
How have you all been?
A long time ago I watched a beauty guro from Thailand, called Momay, and she did this "one shadow challenge". As I was empty for ideas of what to film for my next video I thought, I could do the same challenge too. Instead of going with the same color and shades as her, I tried out my own version of it. If the white eye shadow pencil counts, then I may have cheated on this video... And the products that I used will be listed further down.
It is already the middle of May and my first year at college is soon over, just some couple of exams to go. It is also over a month ago since I started to blog about my hobby and thing that I really love doing. Thank you so much for those who watch my videos, I may not know you, but I am really thankful to all of you. Thank you for all support from my BFFs and other beloved friends out. Without you, I would not be able to keep it up so far. Thank you for my boyfriend as well, he has been helping me to set up the camera and also been a part of holding it too. I love you all!

Sweet Natural Look
Hello my dear readers/ viewers!
How have you all been?
Recently, there has been nothing else but exams on my mind. This first coming Monday, is when it all begins(and I have got bad feelings for this semester)! I am sure you can guess what I have been up to lately..? Yes, you guessed it right, reading. Right now my head is heavy more than ever, so I thought I should give myself a break. And by saying "a break", I mean to blog and upload a video.

With a little more confident in talking English, I decided to go for it in this video. So, today is probably your lucky day! My Morning Skin Care Routine

I fail making the haul video!
Hi Guys!
Let me introduce myself before I start. So, my name is Patch. I have been having the idea of beauty-blogging for quite a long time and my friends really gave me the push to get started. There are 3 reasons that I did not start right away. The first of all I do not consider myself as good enough to start with. The second of all my English kind of sucks, when it comes to the pronouncing and speaking part(and I secretly also suck in grammar). And the last reason is because I was kind of confused of which language I should do it in, when I have 4 language options to choose.
I filmed that part when I talked with my broken English in front of the camera. While editing the video, everything went fine(but it took hours, because I am a noob). Then it comes to the saving the video-part, when it went wrong. :( Some how the part of the video, when I was in front of the camera, just disappeared!!! I am really upset and about to give up, because today is not the first time I tried to edit and save the video without succeeding. :'(
I get frustrated when such thing happens to me and it drives me crazy every time, because I really put lots of hard work into it.
If you know about a video editing program, that is much better than the Windows Movie Maker(of course every another editing program is better than that), please leave me a suggestion in the comment box below. I would be really glad! I would really like to get started, before I get demotivated...
